Membership

Welcome to Auckland Gliding Club. Here we can offer memberships from purely social right through to all inclusive full use of club owned gliders

Our membership options are

• Associate: This is essentially a social non flying member. This gives you full rights to the club facilities, newsletters and functions but has no flying privileges
• Flying member (A scheme): This is a full member that includes flying privileges. You can use the club gliders, have full access to the instructors but have to pay for any time spent flying the club owned gliders
• B scheme add on: This is an additional option to a normal flying membership. It give you all the privileges of a normal flying member but is a pay-upfront option for glider time. This membership option suits those that are going to fly a reasonable amount of hours 
• Youth membership: This caters to our younger members. Full and B scheme options are available at discounted rates
• Dual membership: If you are a member of another club and want to fly regulary at Auckland Gliding Club then being a member of both clubs is an option. Because full membership includes a fee associated with joining Gliding new Zealand, the Dual membership has a discount
